With remarkable bravery, Winifred managed to grab one of the robbers by the collar just as they tried to flee. In a desperate bid to stop them, she struck him three times with the ATM machine’s head. Her quick thinking left one of the robbers injured, and when the authorities later apprehended him, the injury confirmed that it was the exact man she had struck.
