Unfortunately, this cute old dog named Gremlin lost all of her sight after having cataract surgery. The world of Adorable Doggie was getting darker and darker, and so was her mental health. Even her caretakers were upset because there was nothing they could do for her. But then they found out that their cute Gremlin had been fitted for contact lenses. The dog’s expression when it sees the person again is simply amazing!
Taking care of her are Chris and Mariesa Hughes. Both of them love dogs and have had cute pets in their home for as long as they can remember. Chris and Mariesa Hughes even run a rescue group called the Mr. Mo Project to help old dogs, especially ones that are sick. So it was only normal that when one dog had an eye problem, they rushed to help her.
But because Adorable Gremlin was old, the vet was afraid the worst would happen. Gremlin, the cute animal, had surgery for cataracts, but soon after, things got worse for him.
She used to be a very lively and happy dog, but now she was just a shadow of herself. Gremlin stopped playing with her dog friends like she used to, wouldn’t eat, and ignored the people who were taking care of her. It became really bad for her and made her sad. But her loyal human friend was ready to do anything to make things right!

Mariesa hadn’t decided what to do for a while, so she started calling vets for animals all over the country to ask about getting glasses for Gremlin’s left eye to help her see better.
But after another trip to the vet for the dog and more tests, Mariesa was thrilled to learn that her beloved dog can wear human contact lenses. She was very scared, but she couldn’t wait to see how her beloved dog would respond.
Now, dear Gremlin’s life has changed in big ways. She is happy and can easily find her food or chase her caretakers around the house. Mariesa said, “Gremlin hasn’t run into anything when he had the lens.” Greglin doesn’t run away when his dog friends walk by anymore. It took her a while to find her water bowl and pour the water out.
