The girl’s life was a mess during that time because of the divorce and the 13-month court fight over the money settlement. In the end, Ivana got a divorce because she had been “cruelly and inhumanely treated,” and she also got $25 million. Ten million dollars were in cash.
After her parents split up, Ivanka was sent to a private school. She went to the Chapin School and then, when she was 15, moved up to the Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut, which is a top school.
