Loni Willison, a former fitness model whose life spiraled into addiction and homelessness, is holding her ex-husband, Baywatch actor Jeremy Jackson, accountable for her mental health decline. In a recent interview with X17 Online, the 39-year-old Willison opened up about the traumatic events that led to her current struggles.
When asked what went wrong in her life, Willison pointed directly to her marriage, saying, “My ex-husband. Getting married. At least I got divorced. He set everything up to do this to me.” Willison and Jackson, who were married for less than two years, had a turbulent breakup in 2014 after an alleged violent altercation in which Jackson tried to choke her while intoxicated.
After a successful modeling career, which included magazine features in Flavour, Iron Man, and Glam Fit, Willison vanished from the public eye for nearly four years. When she reappeared in 2018, she was hardly recognizable, with a much different look—short hair, an unkempt appearance, and missing teeth.
In the interview, Willison expressed that she was in “a lot of pain” and explained how her struggles with addiction and mental health had taken a toll. She shared that she suffers from physical pain, saying her stomach “hurts really bad.” She also described feeling as though she was “electrocuted” daily for almost a year, which led to her inability to live indoors or be around electricity. Willison believes her body picks up on certain chemicals and metals, adding an intense layer to her suffering, though she’s unsure of the exact cause.
Despite the offers of help she’s received, Willison said she has never asked for assistance, noting, “There’s nothing that anybody can offer me.” She also acknowledged that while her life path hasn’t been ideal, there are “good parts and bad parts, but whatever.”
In a previous interview with Daily Mail in 2018, Willison had discussed her addiction to crystal meth, revealing that she had been “getting tortured” in her apartment.
Her ex-husband, Jeremy Jackson, has also been open about his struggles with addiction. The 42-year-old actor, who has faced issues with drug, steroid, and alcohol abuse, was involved in a legal case in 2017, where he pleaded guilty and served jail time after allegedly stabbing a woman in Los Angeles in 2015.
Willison’s story is a heartbreaking reminder of the impact addiction, trauma, and personal struggles can have on a person’s life. Though she’s faced overwhelming challenges, she continues to push forward, despite the hardships.
