Chimpanzee Lovingly Bottle-Feeds Baby Tiger in Tender Moment at Thai Zoo

At just two years old, a young chimpanzee named Do Do has become an unexpected symbol of tenderness and maternal instinct.

In a zoo on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand, visitors were treated to an unusual — and heart-melting — sight: Do Do gently cradling and bottle-feeding a two-month-old tiger cub named Aorn.

The pair, who live at Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo, have formed a bond that transcends species.

With the bottle firmly in her hands and the tiger nestled close, Do Do doesn’t just feed Aorn — she cares for him.

🤱 A Mother’s Touch — Even Without Words

As Aorn laps up the milk, Do Do looks on with focused care. At one point, she even brings the bottle to her own mouth, almost like she’s testing it — mimicking a human mother’s instinct to check if it’s just right.

And in a strangely endearing twist, Do Do wears a pair of denim shorts — perhaps to keep her safe from the tiger cub’s tiny claws, or maybe just because, like many moms, she’s got a sense of style all her own.

🐾 A Bond That Captures Hearts

Though the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm is known mostly for its crocodiles — housing some 80,000 of them, including the largest in captivity — it’s moments like this that steal the spotlight.

Among the crocodile shows and sprawling enclosures are other animals too: elephants, lions, monkeys, and yes — even this surprising duo who now share a quiet connection.

A chimp and a tiger.
One barely a toddler.
The other barely weaned.
Yet they understand what matters most: warmth, care, and trust.

🧡 Nature, Nurture, and the Unexpected

Do Do’s gentle parenting of Aorn is a reminder that compassion doesn’t have to be taught — sometimes, it’s just there, waiting to be shown.

In a world where wildlife stories often revolve around survival, this one is about nurture, across species and without hesitation.

And while neither of them may understand the headlines their bond is making, the photos say it all — a tiny tiger, content in the arms of a mother who doesn’t look like him, but holds him just the same.
