Four tiny tiger cubs, each from rare and endangered species, were born just days apart — but their tiger mothers, both 5-year-old Bengal tigers, refused to care for them.
Normally, this kind of rejection could mean a tragic end. But this story took a surprising, beautiful turn.

At the same time, a mother dog at the reserve had just given birth to two puppies. When staff realized the tiger cubs needed urgent care, they decided to try something bold — introduce them to the nursing dog.

🍼 One Mom, Six Mouths to Feed
The mother dog now nurses six babies total — her two puppies, and four fast-growing tiger cubs. The puppies, being smaller, sometimes struggle to compete for milk. But caretakers are monitoring the group closely to make sure everyone gets the nourishment and love they need.
The images shared by the reserve show the tiger cubs with their eyes wide open, already curious and bonding with their new surrogate mom.
