Princess Kate and Prince William always have a lot to do during the week, just like the rest of the British Royal Family. In fact, part of their job is to work on the weekends, and the couple has been away from home a lot.
When they had their first child, Prince George, who will become king, eight years ago, their outlook on life is said to have changed a bit. Today, William and Kate have three children. It looks like they are trying to raise them in a modern way, which is something many people think will be very important for the monarchy’s future. That is, moving forward.
There is no doubt that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will be at King Charles’ coronation on May 6.
As of yesterday, Louis, the youngest of the children, turned five years old. There has been talk that the Prince and Princess of Wales might want to have more children.
She went to a baby bank in Maidenhead earlier this week and talked to staff and helped fold baby clothes. During the engagement, the Princess seemed to say something about how she and William feel about having a fourth child.
It’s safe to say that Prince William and Princess Kate have a lot to do. It will only be a few weeks until King Charles is crowned, and the whole Royal Family will be there to celebrate. There will be a parade to and from Westminster Abbey.
Reports say that things have been pretty rough over the last few months, with reports going around that Harry and Meghan might be going. The Sussex family’s friendship with William and Kate is at an all-time low. The Princess of Wales seems to have put her foot down in particular.
Experts say Kate Middleton “kicked” Meghan out of going to the coronation. Charles publicly invited Harry and Meghan, but Harry plans to go by himself. Meghan, on the other hand, will stay in the US with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the couple’s children. Why does she have to stay behind if it makes things easier for the Sussex family?
Tom Bower, an author and royal expert, says that Princess Kate had a say in the choice and didn’t “under any circumstances” want Meghan to be there.
Bower called the fact that Harry will be going by himself a “ugly compromise.”
According to Express, Bower said on GB News, “I think we should all be thankful that Kate, in the end, stopped Meghan from coming and said she wouldn’t have her there under any circumstances.”
“I do believe that Harry’s presence is constitutionally important for the Royal Family. After all, if something were to happen to the Cambridges and they all died, King Harry would take the throne after Charles, so he has to be there.”
He also said, “The question is what his job will be in London.” I believe the main point of the arguments over the last few days has been to make his presence in the Abbey seem less important.
The expert also said that Kate had told Meghan that she would have to “sit in the back” if she went.
A royal source told Page Six that Meghan chose not to go to the wedding because she thought it would not be “real.”
An individual with knowledge of the family said, “They had to make a choice that felt real and true, especially after everything that has been said and done.”
We learn more about Kate’s crowning clothes.
Recently, information about how King Charles and Queen Camilla were crowned was made public. Without a doubt, it will be a big event. For William and Kate, it will be even more special because their oldest son, Prince George, will play a big part.
Some things, like what the royal family will wear, have not been made public. But a few weeks ago, Kate gave us a hint about what she’ll be wearing. Alison Hammond, host of the TV show This Morning, met William and Kate in Birmingham while they were there to celebrate the area’s rich culture and creative industries.
She asked Kate what she was going to wear to the crowning, and Kate said the outfit had a “hint of blue” to it.
Royals have to follow a lot of customs, and this often includes what they wear. They wear blue a lot, but what does that mean?
Samantha Harman, a fashion expert and personal stylist, says that the royal family wears blue a lot to show that the government is “safe hands.”
“Blue is linked to trustworthiness in color psychology,” she told Express. “Camilla and Kate will know exactly what role they need to play, and their public appearances are carefully planned down to the last detail.” Even more so for a royal tour.
There’s a reason they’re wearing more blue, she said. “Blue means stability and dependability.” In other words, they’re saying, “The future is safe with us.”
Party for Louis’s birthday
Prince William and Princess Kate had a great day with their kids last week, even though they were busy planning their schedule, staying healthy and happy, and going to all kinds of events in the UK. Prince Luis had his fifth birthday on April 23.
Usually, when a royal child’s birthday comes around, there are big parties, but it looks like that wasn’t the case for Louis. Tessa Dunlop, a royal expert and historian, says that Kate Middleton doesn’t like big birthday parties for her kids. Louis’s birthday was “conventional,” since she likes things to stay the same.
Dunlop told OK! that they always spend time together. “[Kate] is very traditional in an old-fashioned way, and I don’t think she’ll hide the fact that she comes from a traditional family.”
It would have been fun for Louis’s birthday to have “party crackers and party games” and “muck in and muck around.”
“She’s not very open to the celebrity world; she’s more of a normal, posh girl,” Dunlop said.
With each child’s birthday coming up, Prince William and Kate Middleton have made it a habit to share new pictures of their beloved children. Most of the time, Kate takes pictures because she has a deep interest in them that goes back decades.
They shared a picture of their happy five-year-old son Louis for his birthday. He was wearing a blue wooly sweater and blue shorts.
Kate Middleton says four words that rule out having a fourth child.
Dunlop told OK! that Kate’s mom is very old-fashioned and likes to do things like picnics and days at the beach. “There will be lots of balloons and other birthday stuff,” he said.
Of course, kids and the next generation are always a big deal for the royal family. Though William and Kate already have three kids, there has been talk about whether they might be open to the idea of having a fourth.
Based on what Kate said on a recent trip to the town of Maidenhead, it looks like the royal couple may have made up their minds about that.
Kate helped the staff fold tiny baby clothes when she went to the Baby Bank in Maidenhead without planning to. She said she had forgotten how small babies can be.
The Princess looked through bags and boxes of toys, gear, and clothes that the Baby Bank got and then gave to families in need.
Kate has helped Baby Bank for a long time. The project started eight years ago and now helps up to 22,000 people. Kate asked Sarah and Rebecca Hall, CEOs, a lot of questions while she was there. But one of the things she said seemed to help us understand the possibility of her and William having another child.
Becky joked, “I look at them and think I don’t want to go through that again” as she helped workers sort through donated clothes.
“I’ve been there and done that,” Kate said with a laugh.
“They’re growing so fast”
Kate also said that her daughter Princess Charlotte really loves a certain Disney movie series.
The Princess of Wales said, “My daughter loves Toy Story so much.” She also said that her son Louis had just turned five.
“It seems like they were this small just yesterday.” They really do grow fast.
There will be events all over the country to celebrate King Charles and Queen Camilla during the coronation. But it is said that the royal family wants to use the famous event to encourage people to help others.
People in Britain will have an extra day off on the Monday after the coronation to volunteer in their towns as part of “The Big Help Out.” On May 6, Kate Middleton talked about how important it is to serve and take part in The Big Help Out.
People should know that they don’t have to commit to the whole day if they can only do something in the morning, she said. People in the community who want to do something can find the right organization to work with.
Reports say that the Prince and Princess of Wales might not want a fourth child right now, but that could change.
An expert says having a fourth child could be “dangerous.”
That makes me wonder if having another child would hurt William and Kate in any way. Chris Ship, who is the royal editor for ITV News, says that it very well could. He says William is campaigning more and more on environmental problems, and the “green lobby” might not like the idea of a fourth child.
“A lot of people say that you shouldn’t have four kids for the sake of the planet,” Ship said.
“If William had a fourth, I’m sure that sort of green lobby would find something to say about him.”
The royal expert also said that William and Kate are free to choose whether to have another kid or not. He does think, though, that the couple is “done with three.”
“You know, it’s possible that Kate might have a fourth.” “But, you know, keep in mind that William and Kate are in their 40s,” Chris said.
“They’ll get a fourth if they want one,” I said.
