Man Turns Spare Bedroom Into Luxurious Living Room — Just for His Dogs

Peaches, Challah, and Mitzi aren’t just loved — they’re living in pure dog paradise. Their dad, Ben Mazer, decided that leaving his pups alone while he went to work was too stressful. Instead of worrying, he came up with a brilliant idea: turn his spare bedroom into a tiny living room designed just for them.

A Space Built With Love

“I wanted to create a space where they would be comfortable staying while I’m away,” Mazer told The Dodo.

What started as a simple plan with mini couches, artwork, and a few plants soon grew into something extraordinary. As the room took shape, Mazer kept adding more touches — and before long, it looked fancier than most human living rooms.

A Tiny Room With Big Style

Today, the dogs’ private living room features:

  • Mini couches and throw pillows
  • A fish tank for a calming vibe
  • A fireplace
  • A chandelier and end tables
  • Shelves stacked with tiny books
  • Even a television to keep them entertained

Every detail was chosen with the dogs’ comfort and happiness in mind.

The Dogs Approve

There wasn’t a dramatic “big reveal” moment — Peaches, Challah, and Mitzi watched the room come together over time. Now, they happily hang out there when Dad’s at work, and often even when he’s home.

Recently, Mazer even decorated the space for the holidays, transforming it into a festive wonderland. For him, it’s a constant labor of love.

“I think they like that I spend time in the room as well,” Mazer said.

A Labor of Love That Never Ends

What began as a way to keep his dogs safe has turned into something much bigger: a space that celebrates the joy, creativity, and unconditional bond between humans and their pets.

For Peaches, Challah, and Mitzi, it isn’t just a room — it’s proof that they’re family. And for Mazer, it’s the perfect way to show his pups just how much they mean to him.

A chandelier, a fireplace, and all the love in the world — this might just be the coziest dog living room ever.
