Brad Everett Young, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Actor and Renowned Photographer, Dies in Car Crash

 

Brad Everett Young, the talented actor and photographer, has tragically passed away at the age of 46. He was killed in a head-on collision on the 134 Freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14. According to his publicist, Paul Christensen, Young had been driving alone after attending a movie screening when another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction struck his car. Young was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was taken to the hospital.

Young was known for his contributions both as a photographer and an actor. His work as a photographer captured the glitz of Hollywood events while also highlighting the humanity behind the scenes. He had photographed many celebrities, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Harbour, and Emma Caulfield Ford, with his work appearing in high-profile publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and PEOPLE.

Before finding success as a photographer, Young made his mark in acting, with roles in Grey’s Anatomy, Boy Meets World, Charmed, and 90210. He also founded Dream Loud Official, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving arts and music education in schools.

Tributes poured in from those who knew him, including General Hospital stars Chris McKenna and Jen Lilley, who praised his warmth, talent, and generosity. McKenna, who recently worked with Young, expressed his shock and sorrow, while Lilley fondly remembered their time together.
