After a tumultuous and highly public divorce, Kevin Costner seems to have found new love with Kelly Noonan Gores, the ex-wife of billionaire Alec Gores, according to insider sources. The actor, who is known for his roles in Yellowstone and Dances with Wolves, has reportedly moved on from his painful split with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, with whom he shares three children.
A Rocky Divorce and a New Beginning
Kevin Costner’s divorce from handbag designer Christine Baumgartner made headlines, especially when she filed for divorce in May 2023 citing irreconcilable differences. Their bitter legal battle included a custody fight and financial negotiations, resulting in Costner being ordered to pay $63,209 per month in child support. In a candid interview, Costner described the split as a “crushing moment,” but said he was determined to move forward for the sake of his children.
“My children are looking at me… So I can’t wilt like a daisy, I have to go forward,” he shared with CBS Mornings. Despite the emotional toll, Costner focused on being present for his children and continuing his life.

A Fresh Start with Kelly Noonan Gores
Now, sources say Costner has found happiness again with Kelly Noonan Gores, a 46-year-old filmmaker and the ex-wife of billionaire Alec Gores. The couple has reportedly been keeping their romance under wraps, but recent public appearances, including the JAS Labor Day Experience festival in Aspen, suggest their relationship is becoming more serious.
According to an insider, Costner is thrilled to be moving on from the dark period of his divorce. “Kevin is dating and happy again after a very dark time in his life,” the source said, adding that Noonan Gores is exactly what he needs right now. The two share common interests, including a love for the outdoors and sports, with Noonan Gores even enjoying surfing.
“She is exactly his type and they have a lot in common: the outdoors, sports – she likes to surf – long walks with dogs,” the insider revealed. “He loves kids, so he thinks it’s cute that she has young children.”
“Hot and Heavy” Romance
The chemistry between the pair is reportedly undeniable. “With Kelly, she has fallen into his charm 110%. He thinks she is very nice, super sexy, and likes hanging out with her,” another source shared. “It is hot and heavy right now, and the sky is the limit. He’s looking to hang out with her as much as possible, and she is all for it as well.”
Although some sources suggest the relationship is still in the casual stages, others describe it as a full-blown romance with no limits. “Kevin can get almost any woman he wants, and Kelly is his target right now,” one insider said. “They both are enjoying each other’s company.”
