Shocking Transformation of ‘Deadpool Killer’ Wade Wilson Behind Bars

Wade Wilson, known as the “Deadpool Killer,” has become infamous not just for his heinous crimes but also for his striking appearance both during his trial and in his most recent mugshots. The name “Deadpool Killer” comes from his bizarre coincidence with the Marvel character, but Wilson’s criminal actions—two brutal murders—have overshadowed any connection to pop culture.

Wilson was convicted in 2024 for the murders of Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, both of which occurred in 2019. His crime spree, marked by violence and gruesome details, ended with his death sentence, and he quickly became a controversial figure, amassing a strange and unsettling fanbase. Some even went so far as to write letters pleading for his release, despite his gruesome actions.

However, it is his physical transformation that has recently drawn attention. New images of Wilson behind bars, revealed through a Freedom of Information request, show him looking unrecognizable compared to his trial days. While he was once seen in sharp suits and sporting slicked-back hair, his prison photos reveal a much different figure.

Crime Spree and Gruesome Murders

Wilson’s descent into violence began in 2019, when he murdered Kristine Melton in her home after the two reportedly used drugs together. Following her death, he stole her car and used her phone to contact his girlfriend, Melissa Montanez. Wilson later assaulted Montanez before fleeing in Melton’s vehicle. His crime spree escalated when he encountered Diane Ruiz and murdered her in a horrific manner, running her over with the stolen car multiple times. His chilling comment to a restaurant owner, that he had killed two women, further solidified his notoriety.

Prison Transformation

In his trial, Wilson made efforts to conceal some of his face tattoos, including swastikas and skeletal markings, attempting to distance himself from the intimidating image that was widely associated with his persona. However, the latest jailhouse photos depict a stark contrast to his previously more polished appearance. His teeth are cracked and missing, and his jaw appears misaligned. He has also gained weight and seems to have aged beyond his years in prison.

Life Behind Bars

Currently serving his time in disciplinary confinement at the Union Correctional Institution, Wilson has accumulated at least 10 violations. His time in isolation means he is ineligible for regular visitors or social interactions, further isolating him from the world he once terrorized.

These photos, taken between 2023 and 2024, have fueled public curiosity about the transformation of a man who once seemed poised for a life of infamy but now faces the grim reality of life behind bars.

As his case continues to be followed, the “Deadpool Killer” remains a figure of both fear and fascination, with his physical and psychological transformation serving as a chilling reminder of the consequences of his actions.
