Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, best known for playing Lily Tucker-Pritchett on Modern Family, has come out as bisexual in a heartwarming and humorous way during Pride Month. The 18-year-old actress posted a lip-syncing video on social media, in which she humorously mimics an iconic scene from the show where her character Lily tells her dad Mitchell and relative Gloria that she is gay.

In the clip, Anderson-Emmons lip-syncs to her character’s lines, where Lily tells Gloria (played by Sofía Vergara) that she’s not Vietnamese, but instead “gay,” leading to Mitchell’s (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) comedic response, “Honey, no, you’re not gay. You are just confused!”
Anderson-Emmons adds text to the video, revealing, “People keep joking so much about me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi).” She follows this with a cheerful caption: “Happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe #modernfamily #lily #pridemonth #bi #pride.”
Fans have flooded the post with supportive comments, calling it the “best coming out ever” and encouraging her for her bravery. One fan wrote, “You’re a queen, keep being you,” while another commented, “Slayyyy, have a great pride girl!”

Anderson-Emmons, who was just four years old when she joined Modern Family in its third season, went on to make history as the youngest actor to win a Screen Actors Guild Award. She remained a beloved part of the show until its finale in 2020.
Aside from acting, Anderson-Emmons has also ventured into music, teasing her followers with new music coming soon. In a recent TikTok, she reflected on growing up in the spotlight, admitting that, at such a young age, she didn’t fully understand what she was getting into when she signed onto the show.
