Terrifying GoPro footage shows moment man ‘is nearly eaten’ by Great White Shark

This video could be one of the scariest you’ll see today.

One of the newest trends on social media is dropping your GoPro into strange places. The cameras are almost impossible to break, so you can use them to look under a cruise ship or see what space really looks like.

Some people might want to bring it with them to record their risky sports, but I think we’ve learnt our lesson about taking it into the deep sea.

Seventy-one percent of the Earth’s surface is water, but we’ve only examined five percent of the oceans.

But let’s be honest: a lot of what we know about it already is pretty scary.

Think about the animal shark. Almost everyone wants to stay away from them, but what if the sea predator gets you off guard?

Yes, this is how a lot of shark attacks happen, but some people are lucky enough to live to tell the tale.

This is shown in a movie that went viral, where a diver named Johan Potgieter goes to the depth they planned to go to and gets a nasty surprise.

People who are afraid of gales should turn away.

The video is the number one entry in a compilation called “GoPro: Top 10 Scariest Moments,” which can be found on GoPro’s official YouTube page.

When Johan gets to the depth he wanted, he looks around to see what’s going on. That’s when he sees a Great White Shark swim by him from the left side.

He’s scared, as you might expect, and can be heard screaming under the water to get the sea creature to move away.

Johan quickly comes back to the surface and yells to the people on his boat, “White, white!”

When he looks down again, he sees that the shark is back on the surface with him and swimming around him in rounds.

“Watch out for the White!” he yells again.

They can grow up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) long, making them the world’s biggest aggressive fish.

On his way back to the boat, he takes one last look beneath but doesn’t see the shark. He says in a scary voice, “He almost ate me.”

You wouldn’t want your worst enemy to go through that, and Johan must have felt so relieved when he got back on the small boat.

People who saw the video wrote about it in the comments. One person said, “The Great White One is something out of nightmares!!” The way it shows up so quickly!!”

“That last one with the great white spearfishing in such murky water is just begging to be eaten,” said someone else. “That guy got really lucky.”

“Remember that these are really the scariest videos where everything turned out OK,” said a third. This movie could come in a much scarier form.

So, I’m not going to go near the ocean for the rest of the year.
