After twenty years, Seth Rogen finally replies to James Franco’s message that they are no longer friends.
After James Franco said that their friendship was “over” after 20 years, Seth Rogen replied.
Fans used to love this comedy bromance between the two stars. They worked together on movies like “The Interview,” “This Is the End,” and “Pineapple Express.”
But after Franco was accused of sexual misconduct in 2018, Rogen cut ties with the star in public. And in an interview with Variety at the end of last year, the shamed star said that the two no longer talk.
Franco said at the time that the claims were “not accurate,” but he also said that he didn’t want to “shut down” people who “didn’t have a voice.”
The American consented to pay £2.23 million (£1.67 million) to settle a case brought by two former students of Studio 4, his now-defunct film school.
Franco stayed out of the public eye for a while after that and told Variety that he had “changed his whole way of life” before talking about how his friendship with Rogen had changed.
Actress from 127 Hours said, “I haven’t talked to Seth.” “I love Seth, and I expect our 20 years together to be over at this point.” And not because they didn’t try. “Told him how much I appreciated him.”

In an interview that came out yesterday (February 11), Esquire asked Rogen how it felt “to have something so personal become so public.”
The 42-year-old was “clearly not surprised to get the question,” but he was “just as clearly not happy about it,” according to the reporter, David Holmes.
Rogen said about Franco’s words, “To be honest, I don’t really pay attention to the news that much that it wasn’t even on my radar.” That’s all he wants to say about it, according to Holmes.
Actually, that’s fine. People slammed Franco for “trying to make Seth look like the bad guy” in his Variety interview after it went live.
Others said that “cutting off all ties” was the right thing to do.
But even though the lawsuit settled some very serious accusations against Franco, some fans still said that the pair’s relationship was the “end of an era.” One even said, “Real friends don’t drop you when you’re down.”
In 2021, Rogen spoke out against Franco in public when he told the Sunday Times what he thought.
“What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that.” He told me.
“I remember saying in that interview in 2018 that I would keep working with James. The truth is that I haven’t and don’t plan to right now.
“I can say it, um, you know, it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.”
