Sometimes, the love we have for others makes us give up a lot. This boy was ready to give up on his cute friend to make sure he was safe and cared for. The child in Mexico couldn’t stand the thought of his cute Golden Retriever being abused by his family, so he took the dog and tied him to a park bench. He hoped that a nice person would take the cute dog in. He also put a note next to the cute dog to help him make the hardest choice.
A few people in the area saw the scared dog and called for help. But first they are giving him something to eat and drink. Soon after, Azul Galindo and Marcela Goldberg from Mascotas Coyoacan Animal Welfare quickly got there.
Marcela says that a group of friends came together and brought him food and water. Because that poor dog was left there with nothing and tied to the bench. The cute dog was so scared that they couldn’t get close to it. The people who came to help the dog also found a note next to it.
It hurts a lot to leave this cute friend behind. But leaving him here was the hardest thing I could have done. Because my family would treat my cute friend badly, and it would hurt me too.
